Eights on Your Side Towing Report

Last week's eights on Your Side report on confusing parking limitations at one Strip parking lot prompted swift changes.

As eight son Your Side first reported, No Parking signs in the parking lot between the Riviera and the Pepper mill confounded many motorists and led to the towing of several vehicles

Since the story aired, public officials have moved fast to fix the problem. The towing company in question had 90 days to change its signs, but the company did not wait 90 days. It acted immediately. 

Callers, meanwhile, inundated the eights on Your Side hotline with towing questions and complaints after the original story aired. 

If you think your vehicle was wrongly or illegally towed, you can take steps to fix the problem. First, retrieve your vehicle from the tow lot. It will cost money, but if your vehicle was wrongly towed, you may be able to get part or all your money back.
